Preparing for the holiday and festive season does not only mean you have to hit the gym and get your summer body, but it also means you should prepare for the holiday money-wise.

This means you have to budget all the entertainment activities so that you do not overspend. As the festive season is now over, many people are back to work and are recapping the holiday.

South African’s very own 947 broadcaster Anele Mdoda shared a story of how her entertainment budget was ruined on the first day of the holidays.

In a clip shared on the radio station’s Instagram page, Anele shared that she had gone out with her friends to a club when she asked the waiter to bring a bottle of tequila.

“We got there, joined the table and I told the lady to bring us 2 bottles of champagne and a bottle of tequila to wake this night up,” narrated Anele.

She added that on the night DJ Zinhle was there celebrating her birthday with Nadia Nakai performing by the DJ booth.

“When I ordered the bottle of tequila the waiter asked me which one? 1942?”, I’m like 1942- zonke man girl don’t ask me questions just bring a bottle of tequila,” Anele added.

She says that the waiter was bringing her problems by asking the year whilst she only wanted solutions.

“It is now 2am and we asked for the bill.”

She continued and added that she asked the waiter how much the bottle of tequila was and was told that it was 16 thousand, “I sobered up same time,” said Anele.

Herself and Frankie then added that it should always be communicated that when they are ordering things at a club that are over the usual amounts’ waiters should open up and tell people the prices beforehand.
