If you’re farmiliar with the concept, the Color Run is a five kilometre un-timed race in which thousands of participants, or “Color Runners”, are doused from head to toe in different colours at each kilometre.
This year it’s going to be brighter and shinier, with the introduction glitter powder. The event is designed to uplift and inspire runners to stand out from the crowd, sweat sparkles, and continue to live their lives in a happy and healthy way.
Color Runners will each receive a race pack with includes a 2015 edition Race T-Shirt, headband, bag of colour powder, temporary tattoos, and a race number. Additionally, every Color Runner will receive a R200 voucher from Takealot.com for the purchase of The Color Run powder and merchandise, as well as a R200 voucher from Superbalist to be redeemed against a minimum spend of R250.
The official sponsor, Capitec Bank and The Color Run have partnered with Adopt-a-School Foundation and are donating R10.00 from every ticket sold to support education in each city hosting The Color Run.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The Color Run ticket giveaway will be open from 14-17 September for Jo’burg entries, 14-30 September for Cape Town, 14 September – 10 November for Nelspruit and 14 September – 26 October for Pretoria.
- There is a limit of five entries per user.
- Each winner will get a double ticket to the race of their choice.
- The overall winners will be chosen in a random draw and will be notified by email by Caxton Magazines. Winners can collect their tickets at the venue .
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Winners will be disqualified if they are unable to provide us with all requested information, including an ID number.
- Entry information will not be shared with any third party without the entrant’s prior knowledge and consent.
- The competition is open to South African residents only.
- The competition is not open to employees of Caxton and their immediate families, the prize sponsors or their respective advertising agencies and PR companies.
- The prize(s) will go to the first name(s) selected at random after the closing date.
- Caxton Magazines reserves the right to publish the name(s) and/or photograph(s) of the winner(s).
- Prize(s) are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
- Unclaimed prizes will not be resent. Caxton Magazines reserves the right to redistribute all unclaimed prizes.
- When the same competition is offered across different titles in Caxton Magazines’ stable during the same month, an individual may enter the competition through more than one magazine, but will only be awarded one prize should the individual be selected through the random draw as a winner for the same competition across more than one of Caxton Magazines’ titles.
