We catch up with songstress Zamajobe Sithole, who recently released a new single titled Sobabili.
1. I’m glad to be back in the music scene. I took a break from the entertainment industry and allowed the universe to guide my path. I needed time to figure myself out, as well as my next career move. During my break, I still wrote songs because it is therapeutic. I’m back to doing what I love, and pursuing it in a resilient and calm manner. I’m humbled by the warm welcome, and hope that people continue to support me.
2. I recently released a single titled Sobabili. While playing around with the guitar, I fell in love with a soothing beat that prompted me to add a melody. This resulted in the creation of this song. I felt that this was the perfect time to release it because the sound is a signature Zamajobe tune. Sobabili is a soothing love song that represents who I am and where I am in my life.
3. I will be releasing an album next year in February. I’m hoping that it has some fun and soothing summer jams. With it, I aim to reach out to my fans and also gain a new fan base. I am both nervous and excited about the challenge ahead as a lot has since changed in the music scene.
