Former first lady of the US Michelle Obama has opened up about her marriage to Barack, and how counselling helped to strengthen it. In an interview on ABC News to promote her upcoming memoir, Becoming, she shared her struggle with infertility, and that she conceived her two daughters, Malia and Sasha, through in-vitro fertilisation.

She spoke on the importance of women talking about these issues in a bid to raise awareness, saying; “I think it’s the worst thing that we do to each other as women, not share the truth about our bodies and how they work, and how they don’t work.”
