Toya Delazy new Powerpuff Girl

Singer Toya Delazy, real name Latoya Nontokozo Buthelezi, will be featured as a guest in five special episodes for the new season of The Powerpuff Girls.

1. As a child, I was only allowed to watch cartoons. My family was strict with the content I watched on TV; even movies with a parental guidance rating had to undergo proper adult inspection. While watching cartoons, I used to put on multiple voices to impersonate the characters for fun.

2. I love seeing and hearing myself as an animated character. I have always wanted to play the voice of a cartoon character, even more than singing and performing. I love the fact that I brought that character to life by adding my voice and African-inspired personality.

3. My character is full of surprises, which makes for some exciting content. I believe that the character is relatable, and will inspire children across Africa to be the best versions of themselves. The name of my character is yet to be revealed, and I hope that viewers will be excited about it.
