The couple was a fan favourite this season; however, during the recommitment ceremony, Matsheliso turned Lesiba down, a shock to many, as their chemistry had everyone believing they would be the most successful couple on the show.

“I can’t be the only one chasing”

The marketing manager went on the Unscripted Network podcast, sharing her experience on the show and why she made the decisions.

“I never felt wanted in this relationship,” Matsheliso explains. The couple had amazing chemistry on camera; however, when the experiment ended, the couple had to leave the apartments two weeks ahead of the recommitment ceremony. There was a distance that she noted, which was her ultimate breaking point.

“Even during the two weeks, now I must chase you. Why am I doing that? Why am I chasing you?
