BET Awards Fashion Hits And Misses

by Ayanda Ngcobo

The 2014 BET Awards ceremony took place this past Sunday, we bring you the fashion hits and misses.

Keke Palmer

The tuxedo style suit was sexy and classy at the same time. Not too revealing. She was perfect for the red carpet.

Keke-Palmer-

The gold and white dress was abstract and breath-taking. It’s a welcome change when we see celebs taking a style risk and succeeding in trying something different.

Amber Rose

Amber-Rose-

The floor length dress sat very well on her body and showed off her curves in a ladylike and glamorous way.

Angela Simmons

Angella-Simmons-

Angela Simmons wore the black and gold combo well. We love the cut out style and the simple accessories complimented the dress perfectly.

Ashanti

Ashanti-

Ashanti could’ve made the effort to dress up a bit more for the occasion. The dress could’ve done with a statement piece or two to glam it up.

Draya Michele

Draya-M-

Sometimes less is more as Draya proved in this boobtube leather dress. She made a good choice by keeping the accessories to a minimum and opting to sleep her hair back.

Karrueche Tran

Karrueche-Tran-2-

We are sure we’ve seen Karrueche in outfits similar to this black ensemble she wore. She as such a stunning body, it would be nice to see her try a bit more for the next red carpet event.

Kerry Washington

Kerry-Washington-

Kerry Washington looked all shades of spring in her floral dress. We love the playful summery look that the dress gave off. The white shoes were a good choice to finish off the look.

Michelle Williams

Michelle-Williams-

Michelle didn’t leave us wanting more in the dress. The colour was a good choice.

Mafikizolo

Mafikizolo-

Mafikizolo represented us in absolute style!! The monochrome mixed with tribal trend was worn in all the right ways by both Nhlanhla and Theo. We give them a round of applause and two thumbs up!!!
