Actress Amo Chidi is bidding farewell to e.tv soapie, Rhythm City. The star who plays Reneilwe will make her final appearance on the show mid-April. Amo has been on Rhythm City for 8 years.

This comes a few days after Amo’s co-star, Samkelo Ndlovu also announced her departure from the show after seven years.
In a statement from the show e.tv Head of Local Productions Ziyanda Mngomezulu expressed her gratitude to Amo and Samkelo’s contributions to the show. She said in part; “On behalf of the Rhythm City team, we would like to wish Samkelo and Amo all the best for their future. We will value their personification of the roles they played on the show and thank them for their dedication to entertaining the audiences. Thank you for being a part of the eFamily.”
