#IamWinnieMandela tribute concert

Local musicians Brenda Mtambo, Lira, Busiswa, Zahara and Buhle Ndingu Cihoshe from The Soil will pay tribute to late struggle icon Winnie Madikizela-Mandela with a #IamWinnieMandela concert at Constitutional Hill tonight. The venue also has a condolences book that is available for signings from 8am to 8 pm daily. The artists took to social media to announce the event.

WATCH: Zodwa Zwane’s touching tribute to Winnie Madikizela-Mandela

A memorial site celebrating the life of our heroine Mama Winnie Madikizela Mandela has been set up at Constitution Hill. A condolence message book will be available at The Women’s Jail, 8am – 8pm everyday until Friday the 13th of April 2018. You can pay your respects to the mother of the nation by leaving a message in the book or bringing flowers. You can also join in on the prayer and song sessions led by some of South Africa’s most powerful musicians daily between 6pm and 8pm. #iamwinniemandela✊?
