Successful black women entrepreneurs to support

by Bridgette Matjuda

Why not support young black female entrepreneurs that are working hard to provide proudly South African products.
By Fundiswa Nkwanyana

Portia M – Skincare Solutions

This black-owned, Johannesburg-based company manufactures a range of skincare products made from marula oil and other natural ingredients. Founder Portia Mngomezulu says her products are available at retailers such as Pick n Pay, Game, and Clicks.

Afro Botanics – Natural hair products

Founder Ntombenhle Khathwane says she started this range because she was tired of using products that did not cater for her hair. Her products are infused with African botany and other natural ingredients. The Afro Botanics range is available at Pick n Pay, Game, Clicks and other leading retailers.

Phatsima Jewellery Designs – Custom jewellery designer

Business owner Nontando Molefe designs high-quality jewellery with a special focus on custom orders. Her range includes rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets for men and women. Her jewellery can be purchased from her website.
