WATCH: Julius Malema takes a jab at businessman MySol: “He’s a small boy”

At an EFF rally over the weekend, the political party’s leader Julius Malema took a jab at popular businessman Solomon ‘MySol’ Madibela, calling him a “small boy” after berating him and claiming he is not scared of men like him.

Julius Malema calls out MySol

During his speech, Malema spoke about mines and stated that they are meant to serve the people. He then went on to ridicule MySol.

“The mine will not service MySol, MySol se foot. You must tell him that he is a small boy to me. I am not scared of small boys,” the party leader expressed.

Malema seemingly claimed that MySol is pilfering mines, and that he will no longer be able to do so.

“I am not scared of boys who go around pilfering mines. I am not scared of boys who think they’ve got money. Here is a bus station. He must go around asking about me. I don’t play with chancers,” he said.

Julius Malema’s jabs get the people talking

ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula took to social media, expressing confusion about what the two men could be fighting about, and said he will reach out to Malema to settle the matter amicably and called MySol a solid businessman.

Commenters under the post found the remarks unnecessary and distasteful. Some were confused about why the EFF Commander-in-Chief called MySol a small boy.

Others referred back to the party leader’s previous claims that Black people should enter the mining industry.

More simply used the opportunity to hate on the political party as a whole.
