Wedding bells are ringing for filmmaker Mandla N and Miss Universe 2025 Melissa Nayimuli. The two have officially solidified their love with successful lobola negotiations.

This comes after the Black Brain Pictures boss went down on one knee, proposing to the love of his life on an exquisite vacation in Thailand. Recently, the couple took to their Instagram pages to share pictures of their celestial lobola negotiations process.

The negotiations took place in Butterworth, Eastern Cape at Melissa’s home. The former Miss South Africa 2023 contestant was donned in a stunning traditional dress embroiled with prints, and a matching head wrap. She wore a plain white long sleeve shirt underneath. Mandla kept it simple and classy with an all black look, completed by a stylish Scottish check cap.

In her Instagram post, Melissa referenced ‘chosi chosi’ as a start of their love story.

“We are still feeling so overwhelmed with the love and support we’ve received from our families. What a blessed day! So happy, so in love. To my friend, the artistic genius that is Stephen Van Eeden, you made me feel and look like an African Queen in this dress! Definitely one of the best gifts I’ve ever received, forever grateful to you.”
