Big Brother drama: Thandeka called out for kitchen sink face washing

Big Brother Mzansi host Afrika Mdutyulwa, popularly known as Smash Afrika, has called out one of the housemate’s ‘unhygienic’ tendencies during the Sunday night live show.

Thandeka was called out for washing her face in the kitchen sink over the dishes, steaming her face in the pot used for cooking and drying her weave with the oven. Many have been speaking against her actions, and calling them unhygienic for other housemates who are in the house.

Defending herself, Thandeka said when she steams her face she does not use anything to cover her, its just steam coming through. She admitted that she has washed her face in the sink.

“Some people even wash babies in the sink. I didn’t come here with a dirty face or something like that,” said Thandeka. When asked about drying her weave using the oven, she said that was because they did not have a hairdryer, so she used the heat from the oven in the first week.
