The Rip

This thriller movie was released on Netflix on January 16, 2026. It is inspired by the true story of Miami-Dade County Sheriff Chris Casiano.

This film tells the story of a group of police officers who, during a raid on a hidden cash operation, find their trust broken down as team members suspect each other of trying to steal a large sum of cash.

The Rip boasts a talented cast that includes Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Steven Yeun.

Brigderton

The series tells a new tale from the ton, where eternal bachelor Benedict Bridgerton finally meets his match: a captivating lady’s maid in disguise at a masquerade ball. Among the cast members are Adjoa Andoh, Julie Andrews and Lorraine Ashbourne.

Stranger Things

The Sci-Fi series has five seasons in which it tells a story of a young boy who vanishes. While searching for him, a small town uncovers a mystery involving secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one strange little girl. The stellar cast includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown.

How to Ruin Love

The South African Netflix romantic comedy follows the chaotic, comedic, and dramatic efforts of Zoleka and Kagiso to navigate their relationship, with the new season focusing on the complexities of traditional lobola negotiations. 

The star-studded cast includes Sivenathi Mabuya, Bohang Moeko and Mapaseka Koetle.

Love and Wine

The romantic film premiered on Netflix on December 5, 2025. It follows the story of two best friends, a bet, and the resulting chaos, featuring a mix of suspense and romance. The cast members include Ntobeko Sishi, Masali Baduza and Thandolwethu Zondi.

Bad Influencer

The drama series narrates a story of a single mother and luxury bag counterfeiter, who finds herself teaming up with a self-obsessed influencer to sell her bags and scrape her way out of debt. Jo-Anne Reyneke, Cindy Mahlangu and Thapelo Mokoena are part of the amazing cast.

Kings of Jo’burg

The drama series tells the story of the Masires who rule Johannesburg’s criminal underworld, but a supernatural family curse and a tangled web of betrayal threaten to destroy them.

The stellar cast includes Zolisa Xaluva, Connie Ferguson and Cindy Mahlangu.

When the reigning King of Joburg makes an impossible and illogical deal to take over the notorious King of Cape Town’s empire, it unleashes a deadly chain of events that not even Mo’ Masire can stop…. Or can he!?

The Great Flood

When a raging flood traps a researcher and her young son, a call to a crucial mission puts their escape — and the future of humanity — on the line. Cast members include Kim Da-mi, Park Hae-soo and Kwon Eun-seong.

Blood & Water

The hit teen crime drama is set against the backdrop of an elite private school in Cape Town.  It follows 16-year-old Puleng Khumalo, who engineers her transfer to the prestigious Parkhurst College to investigate a 17-year-old cold case. While fictional, the plot is loosely inspired by the true story of Zephany Nurse, a girl kidnapped from a Cape Town hospital who discovered her true identity years later when her biological sister enrolled at the same school.

The crime drama series stars Ama Qamata, Khosi Ngema and Gail Mabalane.
