Former Uzalo actress Siphelele Mzimela has swapped her love for on-screen production and traded it for a life in agriculture.

Most might have wondered what happened to Uzalo’s Mazaza, this comes after the actress has spent an entire five years away from the small screen since her last acting gig. However, this appears not to have been in vain, as she recently opened up about a brand-new venture she has been exploring and is happy to declare that she discovered yet another passion project that has left her feeling filled – farming.

While she has been away from TV for half a decade, the vibrant actress has been investing her time in farming chickens at her poultry farm called Abanguni, where she is passionate about the entrepreneurial side of things, selling these eggs to locals in her village.

In a recent interview with the entertainment publication, Daily Sun, she shared more on this new venture, highlighting how expensive food has become, which caused her to identify a gap in the market.

“It’s been five years now since our farm started, and it’s doing well. We sell chickens and eggs, and we also started selling cows,” she explained.

Despite having been relatively successful in the farming sector, she has revealed that she has not given up on her love for acting.

“For now I’m focused on farming, but TV will always be my first love, and I’ll definitely be back on TV. At this stage, I will not reveal much. Just stay tuned in,” she hinted.
