Veteran singer and mzansi legend Zonke Dikana is looking for talented individuals to form part of her team with some auditions set to take place in Johannesburg later this month.

The name Zonke is a significant one which holds a lot of weight in the music industry, as she has built a distinguished career as a trusted singer, as well as one of the top-class songwriters and musical producers in our industry. She has had the honour and privilege to work with and write for some of mzansi’s most notable names such as Tsepo Tshola, Winnie Khumalo, Thandiswa Mazwai, and Black Coffee.

Taking to her Instagram, the singer and songwriter revealed that she would be hosting auditions later this month at the Jaspa Studios located in Rouxville, Johannesburg, in search of her next backup singers. On the poster, Zonke encourages those who are interested to prepare her songs  ‘Murandziwa’ ‘Bizan’umama’ and ‘This is it’ for the auditions as those were the songs that she will be using to choose the next members of her team.

Joining an artist of Zonke’s calibre is no small feat, as actress, DJ and influencer Thuli will attest to as she made headlines earlier this year for the shock she received when inquiring about the cost it takes to book a legend like Zonke.

Internet users also appear to echo this sentiment as they have been excited to learn the news, as they are aware of the many opportunities an upcoming vocalist can be opened up to by joining Zonke’s team. Furthermore, these users are aware that the singer never compromises on quality, and will ensure to select only the best, to ensure her fans and supporters are given the only the best when it comes to her live shows and recording sessions.
