Lady Du goes global

Award-winning amapiano artist, Duduzile Ngwenya popularly known as Lady Du has flown the mzansi flag high in Abu Dhabi with her recent gig.

Lined up with S.N.E, DJ Karri and Khalil Harrison among others, Lady Du entertained the Dubai crowd at Yas Beach, Abu Dhabi in Dubai recently.

Known for hits like Woza, Catalia and Tjina to name a few; the amapiano artist shared a glimpse of her show performing for an enthusiastic audience, captioning her post: “Abu Dhabi I literally cried after performing, this crowd was everything. Afrobianofest Thank you for having me.”

Responding to her post, Lady Du’s supporters and Instagram users had this to say.

“Go Queen,” said one user.

Another one said, “You don’t disappoint.”

While another one said, “The movements.”

Taking to Threads, Lady Du said, “Even in my wildest dreams I never thought I’d go to Dubai and have people love and sing my songs like this. Please believe in yourselves, trust me when I say strangers will love you for being yourself.”

The Umsebenzi Wethu hitmaker also took to her Facebook page to share a clip of her performance, with a caption that read: “Our voices are heard by people all over the world!!! Black child anything is possible. Abu Dhabi.”

Lady Du also took to her Instagram page to share a clip of her and fellow artists who were set to perform at the Afrobiano festival.
