Berita has had enough of Nota’s ‘lies and manipulation’

Afrosoul star Berita has had her name put through the wringer, no thanks to her ex-husband Nota Baloyi.

The former married couple have a history of airing their dirty laundry in public. Let’s rephrase that. Nota tends to overshare on his social media channels.

Fans thought the music producer turned over a new leaf last month when he confessed he wasn’t dealing well with the end of his marriage.

While appearing on The Hustler’s Corner podcast hosted by DJ Sbu, Nota said he and Berita (real name Gugulethu Khumalo) parted amicably outside the court following their divorce proceedings.

But the peace didn’t last long. A tweet surfaced of Nota bad-mouthing his ex when an X (formerly Twitter) user mentioned the singer’s name in a post with a tinge of xenophobia.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

A year ago, he threatened to bankrupt me if I dared to divorce him. He fled, evaded papers, and ran out of money abroad. But now, he wants to play the hero? Please. I’ve had enough of his lies and manipulation. https://t.co/PK7p5GnXg7

The Zimbabwean-born artist reshared the tweet and responded: “Enough is enough!

“A year ago, he threatened to bankrupt me if I dared to divorce him. He fled, evaded papers, and ran out of money abroad. But now, he wants to play the hero? Please. I’ve had enough of his lies and manipulation.”

Trolling X account ChrisExcel entered the comments section and said: “We stand with our Goat Nota in these difficult times. There’s no Dustbin to throw a brother.”

Dr Shiyak’leng should Berita’s support and added: “We know about all these he told us, he told us that the idea is to leave you dry, when you leave that marriage you live empty handed. “He ran out of money abroad” was part of the game. Take your L please.”

On previous occasions, Nota’s penchant for speaking off the hip has landed him in hot water. But like every other time, nothing will happen, noted @Inenekazi1: “The way I hate that man mntase yho.

“The worst part is that it seems like people like him apha and keep interacting with him and are inflating his ego. I’ll never understand humans.”
