Gospel artist, Lwando Nyangiwe, famously known as Jumbo is one of South Africa’s most loved musicians. He recently released a song that is making waves on social media, titled “Sohlangana Egalile.”

Jumbo posted a video on Facebook where he was talking to a young boy who referred to himself as Wandile, in Ntuzuma, a town in eThekwini KwaZulu-Natal. In the video, Wandile told Jumbo that he has been seeing him a lot at the events where he performs and has always wanted to record a song with him.

According to what Wandile told Jumbo before he started recording the video, this song was written by Wandile’s father before he died. The boy was 4 years old when his father taught him this song and it has stuck in his mind. This is why he wants to record it.

Jumbo listened to Wandile singing and said, ” Usuhambe waze wafika, ngikuzwile mfana wam uThixo ukulethe la kimina,” (You’ve reached where you were supposed to be, I heard you my boy God led you to me). He also asked for Wandile’s mom’s contact number and told him he would do something big for him and that, it was a surprise.

Facebook users reacted to Jumbo’s act of kindness and complimented Wandile for his boldness and his beautiful voice.

One user said, “Angalujabulela umfana omncane ithuba bhuti jumbo hlampe iphupho lakhe lingafezeka egameni lakho,” (The young boy would appreciate the opportunity Jumbo, maybe his dream might be fulfilled in your name).

Another user commented and said, “Ngithanda i reasoning capacity ka mfana inkulu. He is worthy to be given this chance iphupho lakhe lifezeke. Confidence anayo shows uyayazi into ayifunayo ingaphakathi kuyena. I grace ikhona la, the anointing in him, the anointing with him, and the anointing upon him. It is done Malume Jumbo,” (I love the boy’s reasoning capacity, it is vast. He is worthy to be given this opportunity so that his dream comes true. His confidence shows that he knows what he wants, it’s within him. Grace is upon him, there is anointing in him, the anointing with him, and the anointing upon him. It is done, Uncle Jumbo).
