South African deejay and TV personality DJ Speedsta (born Lesego Nkaiseng) is starting a new initiative to bring hip-hop lovers together.

The first event is set to happen on Saturday, the 16th of March in Johannesburg between 12 pm and 8 pm on the beach in Braamfontein.

Taking to Instagram, the deejay shared a poster of the upcoming event. In his caption, he added all the information and wrote, “We are creating a sexy, mature hip hop space with ‘The Hip Hop Floor.’ Thank you for all the feedback we have been getting from people.”

He also added that he and his friends will be playing “under the sun” for the entire day.

“We want to create the best experience ever for the hip hop lovers. The venue can only accommodate 150 people, therefore, we will be doing 100 girls and 50 guys,” he added.

He concluded his caption by directing people to his bio for the purchase of tickets.

Hip-hop lovers were happy to see this initiative, they commented:

“We need this.”

While others urged one in Cape Town, another user wrote, “When are you guys coming to Bloem?”

In a different post, Speedsta shared a video where he explained what the Hip Hop Floor is: “Hip Hop Floor is a new hip hop space that I have created. We are starting off in Johannesburg which will help me grow with the people of my age.”
