The news of the passing of The Bala Family reality show cast member Sebenzile Jafta known by many as Tat’u Jafta surfaced recently, leaving many internet users expressing their sadness for his passing and how they were looking forward to seeing him in the new season of the reality show.

Tat’u Jafta was introduced to the masses in the first and only season of the ‘The Bala Family’ reality show. He was married to Mrs Veronica Bala Jafta who was previously his best friend’s wife. Many internet users loved the Tat’u Jafta storyline as they shared that he was real and didn’t have a filter. All he did on the show was to show how he loved and cared for his wife and his family, both his and the Bala’s.

Even though the Bala siblings, Pinky, Zwai, Loyiso, and Phelo expressed their shock at the news of their mother’s marriage as they got married without informing them, they accepted Tat’u Jafta.

The news of his passing was first shared by Loyiso Bala who only stated that his stepdad was hospitalised on Thursday and didn’t make it.

“The Bala Family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved father, Sebenzile Jafta. He departed this morning. Tatu Jafta left us suddenly, entering the Hospital on Thursday evening. Despite our hopes, he didn’t return. #RIPTatuJafta #thebalafamily.”

This man treated your mom with respect, she had just found the love she had yearned for for so many years only for it to be taken away…I can’t imagine what your mom is going through but please do pass my condolences to her. Their love story was incredible to witness.
