Makhadzi has done a lot musically this year. After announcing in early May that she would be leaving her former record label, Open Mic Productions, to form her own, called Makhadzi Entertainment, the star has released an album titled Mbofholowo which was well-received by music lovers.

The talented musician also received a nod from Spotify in September after she was named as the music platform’s Equal Africa Ambassador, while also appearing on a billboard in Times Square, New York.
