3y·
By Bongiwe Mati
The summer season is loved by many as it allows us to gather with friends and family and enjoy many outdoor activities.
This is also a season where many people strive for a summer glow as they want to look good when going out to places of fun with friends or that special someone.
Achieving a perfect summer glow may need time and dedication but it is easily achievable with these easy steps:
Hydrate and Moisturise
It is very important to understand that moisturising and exfoliation are intertwined where skin and body care is concern. You do also need to make sure that you nourish the new skin layer after removing the dead cells while exfoliating, stripping off dead skin. A hydrating moisturiser and sunscreen will give you a much-needed glow says luxury department retail store Woolworths.

Take care of your skin
Summer is the one season where we are mostly conscious of our body hair. It is thus important to try other beauty tricks and get product that are not sensitive for our skin. For example, instead of using a shaving cream try a conditioner as it gives a thin and smooth area that will allow your razor to move smoothly, shares dermatologist recommended beauty product maker Dove. Be sure to make sure you moisturise afterwards eve the armpits, they add.

Moisturise lips too
Make sure you keep your lips moisturised with lightly tinted lip balms to give yourself a perfect finished looked this summer, shares dermatologist recommended product maker Dove. Lip balms are said to keep your lips more mosturised than more lipstick, concludes the hub.
Find your summer scent
Smelling good while look cheek with during the summer season is the ultimate to finishing your summer glow. Woolworths adds that scents to look try out in summer are ones such as “combinations of citrus, berries, tropical fruits, mint or rosemary. If you prefer spicier smells, look for lighter versions such as cardamom, ginger and pink peppercorn.”
