See pics: Nadia Nakai’s stunning outfits at AFRIMMA

South African musician Nadia Nakai was one of the stars to watch at the African Music Awards (AFRIMMA) that took place in Dallas, USA this past weekend.

She was chosen as the host for the award show and did so in style, as she rocked three different designer dresses, each as fabulous as the other. She made sure her looks matched the grandeur of the event and she did not disappoint one bit.

Her first dress was designed by Uganda’s leading fashion house, Monix_k’outure. Her makeup was done by pro artist, Ashley O, while  Nancy Glo came through with the styling. She rocked a purple sequined evening dress, with silver jewels to complement it, which she finished off with a pair of beautiful silver heels.

For Nadia’s second look, she was styled by legendary South African fashion designer, Gert Johan Coetzee, who put Nadia in a gorgeous orange sequined with a mesh finish around her legs.

This was also the dress she wore when she showed off her award for Best Female Southern Africa, while her late boyfriend AKA scooped the award for Best Male Southern Africa.

“I’m AN AFRIMMA AWARD WINNER!!!! Thank you for my best female Southern African AWARD. ? Winning Women in a Winning dress! Thank you @gertjohancoetzee for making my second look for the @afrimma ?”

The same designer, stylist and makeup team from the first dress came together for Nadia’s third and final look. This time, she wore a blue sequined dress that had a mesh finish around the legs, with the eye-catching feature around her right shoulder.
