Pep Guardiola is projected to leave Manchester City after 10 years with the team. As he wrapped up his 20th trophy of the decade when he lifted a third FA Cup at Wembley Stadium this past weekend, Guardiola has just two games remaining as Manchester City boss.

Currently number 2 on the table, Man City are hoping for a win against Bournemouth tonight. A win will make sure Pep’s team has another chance at clinching the title.

🚨 Pep Guardiola has informed Manchester City that he will leave the club this summer.

While rumours of him leaving have persisted all season, another title win would wrap up his tenure at the Etihad Stadium on super good terms. Guardiola’s leave is just a year earlier than his contract stated.

With Arsenal needing just one win to clinch the Premier League title, if this happens, it will be the first time Guardiola has gone two whole seasons back-to-back without winning the league.

The BBC Sports reports “that the managerial great is expected to leave Etihad Stadium at the end of the season, and although it is still rumoured, it seems likely. But City maintain Guardiola has a contract for next season and are hopeful he will remain as manager. However, work towards his anticipated exit is underway at the club, with members of staff understanding he will leave.”

Pep Guardiola has led City to 17 major trophies – and 20 in all – including six Premier League titles, the Champions League, three FA Cups and five EFL Cups during his 10 years at City.

It only makes sense that he’s known as the club’s greatest boss and regarded as one of the best managers of all time.
