Vegetarians will love this one. Add some meat on the side for your meat-loving guests.
CABBAGE AND PEAS
- ½ cup (125ml) margarine
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 large white cabbage, shredded
- 1 kg (4-5 cups) frozen peas, thawed
- 1L (4 cups) cream
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- In a frying pan, melt margarine
- Add garlic, cook until soft.
- Add cabbage and peas. Reduce heat and cover. Cook until cabbage is soft.
- Add cream and cook for further 3-4 minutes.
- Season well and serve immediately.
