Messy Sausages

Prep time: 25 minutes

Cooking time: 15 minutes

Serves: 4–5

  • 20 cocktail sausages
  • 1 cup sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) soya sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • Fresh mint leaves, for serving
  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Marinate for 20–25 minutes.
  2. Braai for 12–15 minutes or until golden. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with mint leaves
