Liverpool sets sights on back-to-back titles

Liverpool have secured Florian Wirtz in a record-breaking deal worth up to £116 million, setting head coach Arne Slot up for long-term dominance, writes Dylan Johnson.

Writing for Soccermag, Johnson explains that beating Manchester City and Bayern Munich to his signature, Wirtz brings proven Bundesliga quality, having scored 16 goals and provided 15 assists last season at Bayer Leverkusen.

His arrival adds versatility and creativity to Liverpool’s attack, easing the goal burden on Mohamed Salah.
