For many women, winter also brings additional challenges: lower energy levels, dry skin, seasonal blues and the temptation to put personal wellbeing on the back burner.

Yet some women seem to navigate winter with grace, maintaining their energy, focus and sense of balance despite packed schedules and demanding careers.

While every woman’s routine is different, many successful South African women share similar habits when it comes to taking care of themselves during the colder months.

Here are some of the winter self-care practices that continue to stand the test of time.
