This year’s edition pays homage to the genre that started it all: house music, South Africa’s musical home. From Kwaito to Gqom to Amapiano to 3-Step, house has birthed every wave that’s shaped the South African sound. This year, Afro House is getting the representation it deserves.

Sun-El Musician and Dlala Thukzin, leaders, contributors, and architects of the next era of house and Gqom, join forces with Maestro Chad Hendricks and a full orchestra in a landmark collaboration.

This is a huge deal as it would bring one of the biggest live music productions of the year into homes across South Africa. The show is already marking a historic first as it is the first time since the launch that two headline artists will share the stage, and SABC is a part of that.
