Elevate your breakfast game effortlessly with these tips

A scrumptious hotel breakfast filled with variety brings excitement to the tastebuds of any foodie. It also makes the overall hotel stay extra special and worthwhile.

If you will not be checking into a hotel anytime soon, you can still re-create a hotel breakfast at home. Consider these few tips:

Include variety

When it comes to preparing a hotel breakfast at home, variety matters.

A good hotel breakfast consists of delicious food that is a combination of cold and warm dishes, as well as some sweet pastries. While it is not necessary to serve a big and extravagant buffet breakfast at home, you can still copy the hotel style on a smaller scale. Make sure that your breakfast offers added variety and includes a few luxury treats.

Set the mood

Play relaxed background music in order to set the ambience. Choose a suitable playlist that is not too different from the relaxed jazz or classical music normally played at hotel dining areas during breakfast.

Where possible, prepare in advance

Waking up to a ready-made breakfast is one of the things that set a hotel breakfast apart. When recreating your hotel breakfast, it is helpful to make some preparations the evening before. This way, you will have less to do the next morning, and more time to enjoy the hotel experience you have created in the comfort of your own home.

Pancake batter and smoothies are some examples of what can be prepared the evening before. You can also set your best tableware and cutlery in advance.

Make it colourful and visually pleasing

Go the extra mile to ensure that everything is visually appealing. By including a variety of dishes, you will also bring colour and vibrancy to the table.

As you arrange your toppings and side dishes, use elegant platters as this will contribute to a luxurious aesthetic. Decorating the table with fresh flowers is also a good idea.
