Award-winning singer, storyteller and former Freshlyground frontwoman Zolani Mahola has been confirmed as one of the headline performers at the inaugural Scatterlings Music Festival, set to take place at Huddle Park in Johannesburg on 1 August 2026.

The festival promises a celebration of South African music, culture and collaboration, bringing together some of the country’s most celebrated artists on one stage.

Mahola, renowned for her powerful vocals and captivating stage presence, joins an impressive line-up that includes Zakes Bantwini, Sjava, Tresor, Simmy, Sun-El Musician, Msaki, Muzi, Jesse Clegg, J’Something and Sminofu.
Festival organisers say the event is designed to showcase the richness and diversity of South African music. It is also set to create a shared cultural experience for audiences.
The event honours Johnny Clegg’s legacy and links to the upcoming Scatterlings album, a project curated by Johnny’s son, Jesse Clegg, and South African composer and singer, Msaki.
