Twitter users left emotional after Chief Azwindini’s death

Yesterday was a sad day for Muvhango lovers when they witnessed the royal family’s reaction to the news of Chief Azwindini’s death.

Chief Azwindini’s character came to an end after he was abducted, shot and burnt in front of his onscreen wife, Susan Mukwevo, played by Maumela Mahuwa.

Users were left sad and feeling sorry for the royal family as they were about to receive the unfortunate news.

Commenters wrote, “The royal family about to find out about Chief Azwindini’s death marking the register who’s watching #Muvhango?”

Muvhango actress Candy Magidimisa who plays the character Shaz, shared, “I am not okay, I am still mourning Guys please join Shaz and her family as they mourn the death of Chief Azwindini tonight @SABC2_2 @MuvhangoSA #muvhango #Sabc2.”

 

The SABC 2 page shared the following with their followers:

“It is with great sadness to inform you that the village of Thathe just outside Thohoyandou has lost its Chief, Chief Azwindinni Mukwevho was shot and burnt in a shack Friday night in front of his ex-wife Suzan Mukwevho who is still missing. #SABC2HomeTime #Muvhango 

 

This in turn left a few followers confused on whether the channel was referring to the character or in real life too.

One user wrote, “What do you mean….in real life or you talk stories??????
