Shudufhadzo Musiḓa to appear on Saturday’s episode of Deal or No Deal SA

Deal or No Deal South Africa has announced that Miss SA 2020, Shudufhadzo ‘Shudu’ Musiḓa, will appear on the upcoming episode this Saturday, 31 October 2026, at 18:00.

Shudufhadzo Musiḓa on Deal or No Deal

A snippet from the episode showed the beauty queen stunning in purple, alongside the show’s host, Katlego Maboe. As a guest on the show, Shudu is met with the challenge of having to select one of 20 boxes containing a cash amount ranging from R1 to R250,000.

Playing for charity, the children’s book author is expected to take home the big prize for Project Flamingo, a non-profit organisation that provides swift breast cancer surgeries rooted in the dignity of the patient. The organisation also provides holistic support to patients in the public health system.

Shudu Musiḓa‘s infectious energy

“Will her infectious, joyous energy get a big deal for @projectflamingo_sa?” the showrunners asked. From the snippet alone, it seems so. Singing what sounds like a Tshivenda nursery rhyme, the pageant queen seems to light up the room and provide an energetic vibe on the Deal Or No Deal South Africa stage.

It seems a must-watch episode with nail-biting moments alongside exciting ones. Maboe adds his own vibrant attitude to the show, creating a naturally flowing energy.

Hosting The Mandate

The 30-year-old recently hosted Episodes 6 and 7 of the special segment of the Miss SA pageant, The Mandate. Filmed at the GIBS Business School, the reality docu-series followed the development and training of the Top 19 contestants in preparation for the finale and determining this year’s winner.

The two episodes, hosted by Shudu, who was joined by special guest, reigning Miss SA titleholder Qhawekazi Mazaleni, followed the women through leadership development and business challenges.
