S3 is proud to bring Miss Universe to mzansi

If you haven’t joined in on the fun yet, it’s not too late for you to keep up with South Africa’s ambassador Mia Le Roux as she prepares for one of the biggest moments of her career and life, the Miss Universe finale.

In the spirit of accessibility and inclusion, values that are deeply echoed by Mia, S3 has announced that they will be broadcasting the illustrious event live for all of mzansi to see.

The news came right on time as there had been a rise in the number of South Africans inquiring about how to watch the coveted Miss Universe finale. Although every opportunity mzansi gets to be represented on a stage of such great magnitude is cherished and supported equally, however, Mia being the first deaf contestant has given South Africans even more determination to ensure that she knows that she is supported back at home.

S3 has stepped up as the channel that will be broadcasting the highly anticipated show, providing South Africans with the chance to see the action first-hand, where accessibility has been a constant challenge.

“The Miss Universe finale takes place on Saturday, November 16, and will be broadcast live on S3 (DStv Channel 193) from 04h00 on Sunday, November 17, with a first repeat later the same day at 20h00,” the SABC website explains.

South Africans welcome the news with great excitement as the countdown to the big day has officially begun with only nine days left. “Wow this is great,” an Instagram user says at the thrilling news. Knowing mzansi’s track record in the history of the pageant, the confidence South Africans have in Mia is unparalleled as her natural talent married with the help of the esteemed coaches is sure to take her to the very end.
