Rachel Kolisi at the hospital
On 18 May 2026, the mother of two took to her Instagram account to share pictures of herself lying in a gurney and clothed in a hospital gown. While one picture showed the people who visited her, another picture showed her two children, Nicholas and Keziah, and another child attending to her injuries.
Rachel took a humorous approach to the unfortunate incident, which seemingly suggested that she had taken a serious tumble. She wrote in her caption:
“Had a few ideas for the caption of this one!
“Took @fallingforward__ a little too seriously.
POV: when you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders.
Nothing like morphine and friendship.
Doctors said, ‘Take a load off.’ I got competitive.
“On a serious note, all is well. What a blessing it is to be loved.”
