Pearl Maimela Nikolic opens up about her spiritual journey

Former Skeem Saam actress and motivational speaker Pearl Maimela Nikolic recently shared that she was accepting her calling and becoming a pastor at Triumphant Church International.

As per reports by news publication, TshisaLIVE, in 2023, Pearl became a semi-finalist in the Mrs South Africa pageant, adding that she was also venturing into ministry amongst other things she was doing.

She said: “I felt it was the perfect platform for me to exercise my duties as a child of God. I help the communities through my non-profit organisation and think it will help stretch myself to other communities I may not have been able to reach. I am a true believer that while there are a lot of people in the forefront with their ancestral beliefs, I feel like this is also God’s mission to send his message across as his representatives.”

Describing her recent transition into focusing more on ministry she told entertainment publication, ZiMoja, that she lost friends due to her answering her calling.

Speaking to the above-mentioned publication regarding her connection to being a motivational speaker and pastor she said, “I was inspired by the need for open dialogue around relationship empowerment, creating a safe space especially for men to participate in,” adding, “Our experts highlighted the importance of communication and vulnerability in relationships, something which helped me to grow spiritually, and accept my calling.”

Taking to Instagram, Pearl shared a relationship empowerment event she recently hosted focusing on relationships and ways to grow as a family.
