Reality TV personality Musa Mseleku has set the record straight after a fake political campaign poster featuring his daughter, Sne Mseleku, circulated on social media.
As reported by Daily Sun, the poster appeared to suggest that Sne was standing as a candidate for the All Natives of South Africa (Anosa) party in the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal.

Its circulation sparked speculation among social media users, with some questioning whether the reality TV star was preparing to enter politics.
Musa Mseleku shuts down political rumours
Amid the online chatter, Musa confirmed that the claims were untrue. Speaking to TshisaLIVE, the Uthando Nes’thembu star made it clear that his daughter is not involved in politics.
The incident comes as South Africa heads towards the 2026 local government elections, with political campaigning and election-related content increasingly spilling onto social media.
The Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) has also raised concerns about online disinformation and proposed measures addressing misleading and AI-generated political content.

Sne Mseleku no stranger to online scrutiny
For Sne, who is regularly featured on Uthando Nes’thembu and its spin-off Izingane ZeS’thembu, public attention is nothing new.
The Mseleku family has frequently found itself at the centre of social media discussions, with Sne facing speculation and criticism over aspects of her personal life.
Musa has previously spoken publicly about his determination to support his daughter despite the criticism she receives.
The latest political poster is therefore another reminder of how quickly unverified social media content can fuel speculation about public figures. For now, however, there is no indication that Sne Mseleku has entered South African politics.
