Murdah Bongz to release new album on Asante’s 2nd birthday

South African DJ and record producer Murdah Bongz is set to release an album. However the musician has revealed his album’s art cover.

The former member of the musical band Black Motion will be releasing part two of his solo album Asante.

The project is named after his daughter and will be released on her 2nd birthday.

Taking to Instagram, he shared the art cover of the album and a teaser of the sound which features the sound of his daughter.

“I am pleased to inform you that Friday I will be releasing the pre order of Asante II. On Asante’s 2nd birthday,” he wrote.

Murdah’s wife, DJ Zinhle, also gushed over the art and wrote, “You’re so amazing! So happy for you. Praying for your success, this one is super genius! ❤️ I love you,” she wrote in the comments section.

Many social media users flooded his comments section, waiting in anticipation for the album.

One social media user wrote: “You outdid yourself on this record modala ? Congratulations ?.”

R&B vocalist Thabsie, popularly known for hit singles, African Queen and Ngiyaz’fela Ngawe also took to Murdah’s comments section where she simply wrote: “We are ready.”

“This is the sweetest thing ever. Well done, we can’t wait to pre order on Friday ????,” added another social media user. 
A fan wrote: “I can’t wait king??? Thank you for this opportunity to be part of this amazing album. ?.
