Masked Singer, Sbu Noah takes off the mask – ‘How do I explain this to my pastor’

In the season finale of The Masked Singer SA, Sbu Noah, a celebrated singer, was unveiled as the man behind the Gold Mask.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, he expressed his overwhelming gratitude for the transformative experience. He began by marvelling at the irony of being a fan of the show and then receiving an invitation to participate.

“Wow!!! Imagine being a fan of the @maskedsingerza, watching the whole season pretending to be one of the judges; next thing I get the invitation to be part of the show!!! This God that I serve!!!.”

He extended his congratulations to Zintathu and the entire production team for a stellar season, praising the masks who contributed to the excitement and congratulating Warren Masemola for his well-deserved recognition. Sbu Noah didn’t forget to commend Mpho Popps for his hosting talent and acknowledged the judges—Somizi, Sithelo, J’Something, and Skhumba—for their role in making the show a success.

Addressing the fans directly, he applauded their keen guessing skills and engagement throughout the season, adding a personal touch with a heartfelt acknowledgement: “Ai futhi mina shame nangibamba zisuka!”(I was caught from the start)

Reflecting on the experience, Sbu Noah expressed profound gratitude for the opportunity, admitting it was something he never anticipated doing. He concluded by emphasising his enduring gratitude to God for continually opening doors and granting him such remarkable opportunities in his career.

“I’m so grateful for this experience, indeed something I never thought I would do. Will forever be grateful to God for all the doors He continues to open and opportunities He grants me!.”
