The Joburg Symphonic Celebration follows the success of his previous sold-out performances in Durban and Cape Town.  Dyantyis will take the stage for an exclusive two-night engagement on 3 and 4 July, joined by his acclaimed band, vocalists, and the Egoli Symphonic Orchestra.

The production always promises a breathtaking musical experience that seamlessly blends African jazz, gospel, indigenous sounds, and the grandeur of a full symphony orchestra.

According to an IOL report, Mandisi explained, “It’s a spectacle; people know these songs already, but when they’re arranged for a symphony orchestra, they hear them differently. It almost feels like they’re hearing the music for the first time.”

Just like his previous Cape Town and Durban shows, the symphonic celebration will feature orchestral interpretations of some of Dyantyis’ most beloved songs from his celebrated albums Somandla, Cwaka and Intlambululo: Ukuhlambulula.

His deeply emotive performances and rich storytelling will surely come out spectacularly. The Eastern Cape-born musician continues to redefine contemporary South African music through his unique fusion of tradition and innovation.

Even with Dyantyis’ growing success, his music remains humble, and this is what continues to draw audiences to his work.

Where to get tickets

Tickets for the Johannesburg performances are available through Webtickets and Montecasino, with prices starting from R500. Music lovers are encouraged to book early as demand for the performances is expected to be high.
