Lynn Forbes announces AKA’s platinum song

AKA’s supporters and music lovers have done it again.

Lynn Forbes took to her social media to announce AKA’s Lemonade song (featuring Nasty C) reached 12 million streams, putting it on the 5x PLATINUM status. She thanked his supporters and everyone who worked on the album, adding AKA was proud.

Lynn commented, “We are proud to announce that Lemons (Lemonade) by @akaworldwide and @nasty_csa is 5 x PLATINUM with over 12 million streams + . ”

“We wish to thank every single listener, fan and the MEGACY and all the creative talent that worked on this song and album. You have helped make a MASTERPIECE and you have made Kiernan very proud.”

Excited followers wrote, “Lemons to Lemonade .. Shine from the grave “Son of the Soil” your Megacy lives on”

Another user wrote, “Aunty Lynn, this is the legacy Kiernan has given us! Thank you AKA #longlivesupamega.”

The post which was also shared on the late AKA’s page had over a thousand comments from the MEGACY (AKA’s fans) and his industry friends.

Referencing one of the late rapper’s songs, one user congratulated the song’s success, posting, “AKA is a beast, he’s a problem though, That one that you & …. should solve but don’t.”

While many users mentioned how they missed the late rapper, some shared sadness on receiving his account notification pop-ups.

User @djpearldelazy wrote “When the notification pops up but you know it ain’t him” 
Media personality @lalla_hirayama also shared her mixed emotions on the news, “I don’t know whether to smile or cry.”
