Kelly Khumalo wins BIMA- Afro Pop Artist of the year

Multi-Award winning singing sensation Kelly Khumalo has come victorious again after bagging the Afro Pop Artist of the year title at the Annual Basadi in Music Awards ceremony over the weekend.

Kelly who won the award for ‘Akathintwa‘ was up against Brenda Mtambo for ‘Enzakwenzeke’, Lioness Mohoje for ‘Dipotso’ , Lwah Ndlunkulu  for ‘Ngiyeza’, Nomfundo Moh for ‘Izibusiso’.

The event took place on Saturday 12, at the Joburg Theatre. Singer Unathi Nkayi was the night’s host with performances by Msaki, Winnie Khumalo, Tamara Dey, Maleh, Vicky Sampson and many more.

Taking to her social media, the Voice of Africa shared the news of her latest award addition with her millions of followers. She shared a poster written Winner Kelly Khumalo, Afro Pop Artist Of The Year.
