Former YoTV presenter and former Miss Teen Africa Kat Ncala recently made headlines with surprising and heartwarming news.
The talented media personality, who has captured the hearts of many through her vibrant presence on the youth television program, YoTV, has secretly tied the knot and stepped into the beautiful journey of motherhood.
According to ZiMoja, Kat met her husband through a mutual friend in 2021. Reflecting on their relationship, she said, “I met my husband in 2021 through a mutual friend. After a couple of dates,’ she said. “Initially, I thought we were too different to make it work, but as the saying goes ‘opposites attract’ proved true.”
Kat’s relationship description highlights the balance they bring to each other’s lives. She added, “I’m bubbly and loud, but he is introverted, a math geek, and calm. Our differences complement each other perfectly. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful for my family. Being a mother and part of the “wifey club” has been a joyous and fulfilling journey.”
The South African reported that Kat has previously made headlines for her relationship with Edwin Sodi, a businessman accused of corruption.
In 2021, it was reported that Kat was expecting a baby with Edwin and a year later, the TV personality accused Edwin of raping her, which led to a public confrontation with Edwin’s girlfriend, Karen Zulu.
During their online dispute, she accused Kat of lying about a fake wedding invitation and her pregnancy claiming she had sent a journalist a picture of a baby that was not hers.
Additionally, Karen accused Kat of lying about the rape allegations and a few days after making the rape claims, Kat released a lengthy statement in which she apologised.
