It seems award-winning rapper Emtee has finally moved on from his ex-wife, Nicole Chinsamy, as he went ‘Instagram official’ with singer Nandi Ndathane. A source claimed that the pair had been going strong since 2 June 2026 and met through their manager, Hlubli Radebe.

Emtee and Nandi Ndathane debut on Instagram
In the early hours of Monday, 22 June 2026, the Roll Up hitmaker took to the social media platform to share a picture of himself and the singer taking a selfie inside a store.
Emtee showed appreciation in his caption, writing, “She holds me down. My Soweto baby saved me.”

Sharing the same picture on her Instagram account, Nandi, who was a contestant on Idols SA‘s 18th season, showed how smitten she was with an added post. She shared an edited clip of award-winning American rapper Latto shouting out her man. Nandi tagged Emtee in her caption.

Nandi Ndathane shows up for Emtee
According to TimesLive, Nandi appeared at the Midrand Magistrate’s Court on 11 June 2026 with Emtee and his family after he had allegedly breached an order that stopped him from harassing Nicole. The incident resulted in the rapper spending a night in jail and was released on R1,000 bail.
Emtee and Nicole are known to have had a tumultuous relationship, with both parties hurling harmful accusations at one another.
Relationship divides fans
While some social media users under Emtee’s post appreciated seeing him thriving in a new relationship and wished the pair well, others wondered whether the couple rushed to announce their romantic link.
