After the Covid-19 pandemic the country has been in an economic struggle, with fuel prices along with food and many other things continuing to increase. This has caused many frustrations among people as they are not able to provide for their basic and essential needs.

South African rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur and record producer Cassper Nyovest is also feeling the financial hardship as he claims that things are tough for him as well. The rapper however received loads of backlash as many claimed that the rapper is well off and is not feeling the financial hardship as many regular people.

Taking to his Twitter timeline the Doc Shebeleza hitmaker said that people are going through a lot financially.

“People are going through a lot financially. Ha gona zaka jo. It’s bad! Nobody has money. What’s going on Shap Shap??? Why is it so tight?,” asked Cassper.

After voicing his own frustration on the current financial hardship many people were not here for it as they claimed the rapper was “lying” and therefore is financially stable according to his current networth.

One Twitter user questioned the rapper saying: “Lmfaoo nahh you’re capping Mr Nyovest , I am pretty sure your networth is around $8-9 million right now,” one Twitter user tweeted.

Cassper responded to the tweet saying: “Networth isn’t Cash flow. The growth is just as demanding if not more demanding. It’s tough man. I’m going through it,” he retweeted the tweet.

“I’m going through it myself. It’s tough man. Like I feel only the billionaires are living soft cause jo ya kena ya tswa. Everything is just expensive! Water electricity, food, Petrol, security, rent , tax. Bro I’m not making enough money. I’m always stressed about the next month,” said Cassper.
