Buhle Mda and Botshelo Mondi share beautiful glimpses from their wedding celebrations

South African media personality Buhle Mda and her partner, Botshelo Mondi, have given fans a glimpse into their beautiful wedding celebrations, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their love story.

The couple reflected on their special moments in a heartfelt message, describing their celebrations as a dream that had finally come to life.

‘The moon was full’

Looking back on their wedding celebrations on 26 September 2026 and 3 October 2026, Buhle and Botshelo painted a picture of two families coming together to celebrate their love.

“The moon was full, mountains overlapped, and the sky cried in jubilation,” they shared.

For the couple, the celebrations represented more than just their union. It was also about bringing their families together and creating a shared future.

‘Our love was steady’

The couple described their relationship as one that had grown into something they could no longer deny.

“Our love was steady, and it manifested into a dream undeniable,” they said.

They also reflected on the coming together of their families, describing it as two families from different provinces colliding in celebration.

“We cried, we danced, we laughed so loud that the God of our ancestors smiled,” they shared.

The couple said they were still “buzzing from the euphoria” of seeing their love play out in real time.

A celebration of family and unity

Buhle and Botshelo also expressed their gratitude to everyone who helped make their celebrations special.

“To our families, guests and service providers, thank you for honouring our wishes. Thank you for coming looking the part,” they wrote.

Their message highlighted the role their loved ones and service providers played in bringing their vision for the celebrations to life.

‘Today we are Asimanye and Peo-entle’

The couple also revealed the names they now go by, writing: “Today we are Asimanye and Peo-entle.”

They playfully added: “We went from BeesOntheCouch to MrsSoft,” giving followers a glimpse into their personal sense of humour and the journey they have shared.

Their message captured both the significance and joy of reaching this milestone together.

‘Now the journey begins’

With the celebrations behind them, Buhle and Botshelo are looking ahead to their life together.

“Now the journey begins, as we plant the seed of unity in the Mondi-Mda Clan,” they shared.

The couple’s words reflect their hopes for a future rooted in love, family and unity as they begin this new chapter. They also credited Chu for capturing the snippets from their celebrations, giving them a way to look back on the special moments.
