Singer and actor Brian Temba is pulling back the curtain and showing Mzansi the man behind the music. The singer is expressing a side of himself that many of his fans and listeners have not yet seen on his upcoming album, The Legacy.

Brian Temba shows Xhosa greatness
Temba has already released two singles, titled Lerato Laka and My Sunshine, from the album that is set to be released in September. On the project, Brian told Daily Sun that fans can expect “Brian Temba as a whole” in all his multi-faceted glory.
The singer added that fans can expect a full expression of his cultural roots as a Xhosa man. He states that many people don’t know about his cultural roots.
The Legacy showcases many written and produced songs in isiXhosa that celebrate and embrace Xhosa culture.

More touring for Brian Temba
The album is not the only treat that Brian is offering his fans, as he has kicked off his tour, going across the country whilst working on his album. The tour kicked off on 9 August 2026 at the Hard Rock Cafe.
He will continue performing at the Untitled Basement in Braamfontein, Johannesburg on 27 August 2026. Temba also told the above-mentioned publication about the various regions he will be performing throughout the country.
The singer states that after the Johannesburg leg, he will then move on to the North West in September. He will soon after be in Durban in October and November. Fans will be able to immerse themselves in this reintroduction of Brian Temba, not only in the music but through his performances.
