What inspired Botlhale Boikanyo to get her honours?

The 25-year-old explained that her decision to return to academia was strengthened after participating in the Mandela Washington Fellowship at Michigan State University, where her passion for learning and storytelling was reignited.

Boikanyo said completing the qualification required dedication, as she managed lectures, research and deadlines while maintaining her professional commitments. She described the experience as one that challenged her thinking and helped her grow as a storyteller.

Her announcement was met with congratulatory messages from fans, friends and fellow entertainers, who praised her commitment to education and her ability to pursue academic excellence while building a career in the arts.
