Blxckie and Nadia Nakai are nominated for BET Awards

South African Hip Hop stars, Nadia Nakai and Blxckie are over the moon following their BET Hip Hop award nominations.

The artists have been nominated for the same category, Best International Flow alongside Black Sherif Benjamin Epps, , Central Cee, , Knucks, le Juiice, Haviah Mighty and Tasha & Tracie.


For Blxckie, this BET nomination comes after his biggest win at South African Music Awards for Best Hip Hop Album, as well as winning a gold and platinum plaque.


An elated Nadia could not wait to share her exciting news. Taking to social media, she wrote ‘Guys! I’ve been nominated for a BET hip hop award for Best International Flow! Thank you BET Africa, this taught me to never let anyone discourage you from doing what you love! No matter what they say, even if they didn’t believe in you. It doesn’t matter because God did. Keep going! I’m a BET nominee baby. ‘
